What is MAIFF?

The Malaysia Islamic Fintech Forum (MAIFF) is a full-day forum scheduled for Monday, 26 January 2026, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, to be held at EQ Hotel Kuala Lumpur.

The forum will bring together prominent Shariah scholars, Islamic banking professionals, fintech leaders and SEDANIA As Salam Capital (SASC) clients to deliberate on critical issues and emerging innovations shaping the Islamic fintech ecosystem in Malaysia and global.

MAIFF aims to strengthen Shariah oversight, foster meaningful industry collaboration, enhance client confidence, and position SASC as a pioneer in ethical, innovative, and sustainable Islamic fintech solutions.

Notably, MAIFF marks a significant milestone as Malaysia’s first dedicated Islamic fintech forum, reinforcing SASC’s leadership and thought leadership within the national and global Islamic fintech landscape.

Professor Dato’ Dr. Aznan Hasan is a globally recognised Islamic finance authority with over 20 years of academic, regulatory, and advisory experience. He chairs the Shariah Advisory Council of the Securities Commission Malaysia and holds prominent international advisory roles, contributing to Shariah governance, capital markets, takaful, zakat, waqf, and complex product structuring, making him one of the most influential figures in contemporary Islamic finance.
